Bromley CAMHS Operational Manager, Band 8b

Permanent

Full-Time: 37.5 hours per week

We are pleased to advertise an exciting opportunity for candidates to apply for the role of Operational Manager for specialist community CAMHS in the London Borough of Bromley, following an internal promotion.

We invite applications from exceptional candidates and seek to appoint a dynamic, experienced and enthusiastic senior leader, with strong experience in working with a mental health service user group.

The post holder will be responsible for providing operational leadership to the full range of clinical teams in Bromley CAMHS and to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of specialist mental healthcare services to children and young people, parents/carers and professionals within Bromley.  The post holder will also assume responsibility for the development of Trust-wide CAMHS referral and triage pathways and will form a critical member of the sub-directorate CAMHS Leadership Team.

As Operational Manager, the successful applicant will be required to work closely with the Bromley CAMHS Management Team, including professional and management leads, to ensure achievement of a range of performance targets and service development priorities.

Bromley CAMHS is provided in accordance with CYP IAPT principles and delivered in partnership with service user and partner agencies, and as part of a multi-agency system.  Furthermore, alongside South London & Maudsley and South West London & St. George's Trusts, we are partners in the South London Partnership, delivering a successful CAMHS New Care Model and a Forensic CAMHS service across south London. As a result, a number of services have been developed including a Crisis Service providing emergency care in and out-of-hours and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) in order to help young people to access care within their communities.

Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust is rated 'Good' by CQC and has a successful track record of delivering high quality care and treatment communities across south east London. The Trust has embarked upon a Quality Improvement programme and clinical staff are encouraged to participate in designing and delivering change that facilitates improvements in the quality and experience of care for patients.

This is an exciting time to join Oxleas CAMHS. If you are interested in joining us, in being part of an innovative, integrated system of emotional wellbeing and mental healthcare in Bromley, please contact us.
