Specialist Community CAMHS - Adolescent Team

Full Time: 37.50 hours per week

We are pleased to advertise an exciting opportunity for a Systemic Family Therapist to join us in Bromley CAMHS on a permanent contract.

You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, undertaking mental health assessment and delivering a range of evidence-based treatment for children and young people including individual, parent-child, sibling, family and group interventions as well as brief treatments.

As a qualified Systemic Family Therapist, you will also provide specialist advice and consultation regarding diagnoses and treatment to CAMHS colleagues, external agencies and make contributions to overall service delivery as required.

Oxleas CAMHS offers an excellent, innovative environment for newly qualified and experienced clinicians to develop their clinical practice, flexible job plans and a range of professional development opportunities. Oxleas CAMHS are delivered according to CYP IAPT principles, as part of a Children and Young People Directorate delivering specialist mental and physical healthcare and Public Health Nursing services.

Alongside South London & Maudsley and South West London and St George’s Trusts, we are partners in the recently created South London Partnership, delivering a successful CAMHS New Care Model and a new Forensic CAMH service across South London. As a result, we are developing a number of new services including a new Crisis Service providing emergency care in and out of hours and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy in order to help young people to access care within their communities.

Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust is rated ‘Good’ by CQC and has a successful track record of delivering high quality care and treatment to communities across South East London. The Trust has embarked upon a Quality Improvement programme and clinical staff are encouraged to participate in designing and delivering change that facilitates improvements in the quality and experience of care for patients.

This is an exciting time to join Oxleas CAMHS. If you are interested in joining us, in being part of an innovative, integrated system of emotional wellbeing and mental healthcare in Bromley, please contact us.
