Clinical Nurse in Learning Disability /Neuro-developmental Disorders, Band 6

Bexley CAMHS

Full time - 37.50 hours per week

We are seeking to appoint an experienced CAMHS nurse to work within our multi-disciplinary Learning Disability and Neuro-developmental team in Bexley CAMHS. The post holder will provide assessment, planning and therapeutic interventions to children and young people who present with neuro-developmental disorders and a range of mental health needs. You will also provide support to the child or young person’s parents or carers and professional network.

You will be a qualified, able and enthusiastic registered mental health /learning disability nurse with NMC registration and have post registration experience and specialist CAMHS training. You will have clinical experience in providing focussed therapeutic intervention for children and young people with neuro-developmental disorders including ADHD, Autism and tourettes. You will be expected to support and assist the core aims of CYP-IAPT in the service both in your direct clinical work and as a positive member of the multi-disciplinary teams and wider service.
