Speech and Language Therapist ASD, Band 6

The post attracts Outer London pay weighting.

We are looking for a therapist with experience of working with children with social communication difficulties and Autism. You will have at least 2 years experience as a qualified Speech and Language Therapist. There is the opportunity for professional development, and the support of a team of therapists, assistants and advisory teachers.

As part of the team you will provide assessment, advice and interventions. You will work children 2-11. You will see children within clinic settings,  in early years settings, schools  as well as offering some virtual sessions as part of our intervention package.

The post is part of the Children’s Specialist Services and offers close working with Community Paediatricians and the Autism assessment service, Occupational therapy, Portage , Educational Psychology, Autism Advisory Service and CAMHS.

You will have access to administrative, managerial and clinical support. Training and career development is well supported and also the development of clinical interests.
