SPEECH AND LANGUAGE THERAPIST, BAND 6
Fixed Term contract: 12 months
Following additional funding we are looking for an experienced, motivated and innovative therapist to join our School Years team, delivering services to children and young people within the Royal Borough of Greenwich. You will be part of a large and supportive team comprising Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, therapy assistants and a well resourced admin team.
We are looking for a therapist experienced in using their own initiative to deliver direct and indirect therapy to families, to meet the needs of clinical caseload for allocated schools.
The successful applicant will have operational responsibilities and be a source of knowledge and support for School Years team colleagues and the wider service. The role will be configured based on the experience and expertise of the successful applicant.
We are a large SLT team with an organisational commitment for CPD to enhance clinician’s skills within areas of clinical interest.
The service has excellent internal supervision and support structures and provides a friendly environment to develop clinical skills, with opportunities to contribute towards service development projects.
