The job plan is negotiable and can be tailored to meet their career and individual needs in line with the service needs as appropriate.

We are offering a retention incentive in addition to the Consultant salary and London weighting. We want to recruit the very best team, and are offering external new starters a retention incentive of £5,000 when they start and commit to working with us for one year. Beyond that, a further £5,000 will be paid if a commitment is made to remain in post for a further two years. Any payment made will be on a pro rata basis for part time appointments.

Main duties of the job

Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust is seeking to employ an enthusiastic Consultant Paediatrician with expertise in community child health to help deliver a highly regarded service for children in Greenwich. You will join a team of motivated, experienced and supportive Community Paediatricians with multidisciplinary and interagency working being a significant part of the role. This post is a replacement substantive post due to the post holder retiring. The Consultant will be part of a team of 5.0 WTE Consultants, 1 WTE Locum Consultant, 5.0 WTE Specialty Grade (SAS) doctors, 0.4 WTE Clinical Psychologist and 1 WTE Specialty Higher Trainee.
